Location: South Louisiana
Due to Hurricane Katrina, the film "Sorority Slumber Party Massacre" is relocating from New Orleans to another location in south Louisiana. We are currently seeking ambitious females, 18-30, as we have to replace cast members who are displaced through the U.S. This could be your chance. Producers are looking for fresh faces to bring the characters to life.
Currently in development phase, we plan to start pre-production in November and will start filming in 2006. The film is planned for release nation-wide in the following forms: theater release, pay per view, film festival, and direct to video. Acting staff will also be asked to tour horror films nation-wide to promote the film.
Some information on what we are doing:
1. Film will be in the horror-comedy genre and will be rated R. The film involves the casting of several females as "sexy sorority girls." Plot summary: revolves around a bunch of sorority girls who stay at their sorority during spring break- film a cross between the films "Scream" and "A Scary Movie";
2. There are approximately 10 female speaking and non-speaking roles (nude and non-nude roles - mostly nude), with all ten initially qualifying for the lead. There will be an open call, but there are opportunities for select individuals to be mentored through the selection process;
3. The selection process will be non-union in nature;
4. There will be compensation for all acting and production staff.
